Monotype is a technique in which you paint on glass and transfer it onto paper. You repeat the same process until you are satisfied with your painting and then you go one step further by painting on top of this monotype with acrylic paint and more paper is added if needed to the piece. It is a layering process of color which when transferred onto paper creates another illusion.
