The last part of my thoughts on acrylic lye in the other forms of painting besides acrylic like watercolor or acrylic like oil techniques. Here will be discussing building up tonal manners with flat areas of color placed one over the other to produce the effect of three-dimensional volume.

With acrylics glazes can be completely transparent, the pigment thinned down with water or medium, or it can be semi-transparent to create an effect of distance, delicacy or atmosphere. This is created by adding a touch of white to the thinned down color glaze.
